    About Cameron

I am currently a full-time undergraduate student in my Senior year. I enjoy developing software for both Windows and Linux platforms; primarily in the former but I hope to expand my knowledge and experience in both areas. C++, Java, Python, MASM, and Visual Basic are the programming languages that I have utilized in the past and have a fair knowledge of, though I enjoy experimenting now and then with many more including those related to web programming technologies (such as HTML, CSS, Javascript, and ActionScript). I have an avid desire to learn and experiment with anything related to software development.

The primary enjoyment I derive from programming is in developing academic and open-source software that can be used for educational purposes at little or no cost. I enjoy experimenting with the latest desktop and web productivity applications, and keeping eyes open for all types of new technology. Research in the computer security arena (more specifically, software security / reverse engineering and debugging techniques) and on-the-side videography are a few tech hobbies that I’ve been known to pursue.

A Christian, avid music listener and participant in martial arts of varied styles, at any given time I have a wide assortment of development reference / best practice books that I’m trying to read at once… and only partly succeeding with a full-time school + weekend work schedule. I have an awesome family that is behind me every step of the way, a Great Dane (Sasha), and a house cat with an attitude (Hobbes): in short, I’m pretty blessed.
